They don’t call her a boss for nothing.
Singer Jennifer Lopez won a bidding battle against mogul Sean Combs in order to purchase a popular entertainment network. That battle ended today when Lopez agreed to buy Madison Square Garden Company for $226 million in order for MSG to give the « American Idol » judge FuseTV, along with JLo being a shareholder for NuvoTV, an English-Spanish channel for those who speak both English and Spanish.
Although it was Combs that wanted Fuse in order to combine both Fuse and his network, Revolt TV, it was the 44 year old singer that got to it first.
According to USA Today, it is reported that FuseTV is « currently in 73 million homes, more than twice of that of NuvoTV. » There are no plans to change FuseTV, but the goal is for both networks to grow.
Congratulations to Jennifer Lopez on her brand new business…
